Strategies To Defeat Empress Delilah After She Enters The Painting

In the final mission of Dishonored 2, the player must enter Dunwall Tower and eliminate Empress Delilah Copperspoon, who has stolen the throne and wields dark magic. To defeat her, the player must first reunite Delilah's spirit with her body to make her mortal, before eliminating her and reclaiming the throne. This involves entering a painting, where Delilah has fled, and navigating a series of challenges, including defeating her duplicates and avoiding her magical attacks. The player can then knock her out, carry her back, and place her on the throne, trapping her within her painting and ruling over an imagined world.

Use the Heart on Delilah before she enters the painting

To kill Empress Delilah, you must first enter Dunwall Tower and find a way to reunite Delilah Copperspoon's spirit with her body to make her mortal again. Only then can you eliminate her and take back the throne.

To do this, you must use the Heart on Delilah before she enters the painting. If you didn't talk with any of the statues, crouch and sneak up behind Delilah while she works on the painting, and then use the Heart. This will trigger a cutscene that ends with Delilah moving into her painting.

Do not follow her into the painting just yet. Instead, approach the throne and use the Corrupt Rune you made earlier to alter it. Only then should you head into the painting to confront Delilah.

You will face several replicas of Delilah, which are hidden throughout the painted version of the Throne Room. Sneak around behind them and choke them out to remain undetected. As long as you choke them all out from behind, you will be able to avoid becoming detected, allowing you to find the real Empress without causing any trouble.

Once you have dealt with the replicas, find the real Delilah and take her down. If you are going for a Low Chaos playthrough, you will knock her out and be able to pick her up. Carry her back through the painting portal and place her on the (corrupted) throne.

Craft the Corrupt Rune and install it on the throne

To kill Empress Delilah after she enters her painting, you must first craft the Corrupt Rune. This is done at an altar in the Overseer Chapel in Dunwall Tower. You will need dried algae, pigment, and human bones to craft it.

Once you have crafted the rune, you must then install it on the throne. This is done by approaching the throne and using the Corrupt Rune to alter it. Only after this step should you head into the painting to confront Delilah.

There are multiple ways to reach the throne room. One way is to take the elevator, but this will require you to first restore power in the Security Room. Another way is to use Far Reach to reach the balcony on the second floor, approach the statue of Delilah, and then climb over the barricade behind her to find a door. Go through the door and turn right, then turn left and climb through the dumbwaiter hole in the wall. Move forward slowly and use Far Reach again to reach the vent. Head left along the hall to the end, then use Far Reach to enter the Security Room stairwell. Head downstairs and power up the elevator.

Once you have reached the throne room, climb through the window on the right to enter from above, staying out of sight. Install the Corrupt Rune on the throne, then enter the painting to confront Delilah.

Enter the painting and find the real Delilah

To enter the painting and find the real Delilah, you must first make your way through the streets to reach Dunwall Tower. You will encounter several Wolfhounds, so be cautious and keep your crossbow ready. There is a Rune hidden in the docks, which you can find using your Heart. You will also come across the Black Market, where you can purchase any necessary items.

Once you reach Dunwall Tower, you will find Delilah Copperspoon and her witches. Delilah is a powerful antagonist with extensive supernatural abilities, including the power to control statues, turn adversaries to stone, and utilize paintings to steal the spirits of others. She has also merged with the Outsider, enhancing her magic and granting her the ability to steal the supernatural abilities of others.

To enter the painting, you must first craft the Corrupt Rune, which will be used to give Delilah her non-lethal punishment. After crafting the rune, make your way to the elevator and call it. Smash the gravehound skull inside the elevator, then take it to the fourth floor. Instead of going through the front door, turn left and look for an alley. Go to the end and climb through the window on the right.

Climb onto the railing and destroy the three gravehound skulls to your right. Hop down and turn to your right, where you will see a final painting. Turn left and climb up the rocks to the gazebo. From there, turn towards the Tower and climb over the hedge.

Now, you are ready to enter the painting. Do so in stealth mode and ignore the replicas, including the one on the throne. Turn right, then right again into a nook with a dead end. Climb the crystal spire on the right side of the nook to reach the real Delilah, who is overlooking the location. You can choose to choke or kill her at this point.

Choke or kill Delilah

To choke or kill Delilah, you must first enter Dunwall Tower and confront Empress Delilah Copperspoon. She has stolen the throne and has ambitions to change the world with her will, so you must stop her before she can carry out her dark magic plans.

Make your way through the streets of Dunwall, avoiding the Wolfhounds, and enter Dunwall Tower. Here, you will find Delilah and her witches. You must reunite Delilah Copperspoon's spirit with her body to make her mortal again, so that you can eliminate her and take back the throne.

Craft the Corrupt Rune, which will be used to give Delilah her non-lethal punishment. You can then enter the painting in stealth mode and avoid the replicas, including the one on the throne. Turn right, then right again, and climb the crystal spire at the end of the nook. Here, you will find the real Delilah, who will be oblivious to your presence. You can then choke or kill her as desired.

If you choose to choke her, be aware that her clones may still detect you, so it is important to act quickly and stay hidden. If you opt to kill her, you can use your sword to stab her in the ribs, similar to how Daud eliminates her in the game.

By choking or killing Delilah, you will be able to put an end to her reign and prevent her from carrying out her plans to bend reality across the Empire.

Place her unconscious body on the throne

To kill Empress Delilah after she enters the painting, you must first render her unconscious. You can do this by sneaking up behind her and choking her.

Once she is unconscious, you must carry her back through the painting and into the throne room. Place her body on the throne, which has been altered with the Corrupt Rune, to end her reign and take back the throne.

First, you must craft the Corrupt Rune, which will be used to alter the throne and give Delilah her non-lethal punishment. This can be done by following the instructions in the audiograph and using the ingredients found along the way.

Next, make your way to the throne room and install the Corrupt Rune on the throne. This must be done before following Delilah into the painting.

After installing the Corrupt Rune, enter the painting and confront Delilah. There will be several replicas of Delilah hidden throughout the painted throne room. Sneak up behind them and choke them to remain undetected.

Once you have dealt with the replicas, find the real Delilah and knock her out. You can do this by sneaking up behind her and choking her. Be careful, as if you are detected, the other replicas may be alerted.

Finally, carry Delilah's unconscious body back through the painting and into the throne room. Place her on the altered throne and watch as she receives her punishment.
