The colour tool can be used to paint the space suit in Empyrion – Galactic Survival. This is how you do it:
Firstly, you need to get the colour tool in hand and point the crosshair to a block. Then, click the left mouse button (LMB) to colour the block. Pressing the LMB multiple times will cycle through the available colours. If you want to paint a block with the last used colour, press Shift + LMB. To colour multiple blocks, drag the mouse while pressing Shift + LMB; this will colour all the blocks that come in front of the crosshair.
There are currently seven colours to choose from, and they always come in the same order while cycling through them. The order of the colours for the hull blocks is Default (Gray), Blue, Black, White, Red, Yellow, and Green. Note that painting a block actually replaces the block with a new coloured block, so damaged blocks get repaired if painted.
You can also copy and paste a block with a texture and colour setting. To do this, hold Ctrl and then right-click. This will copy the pattern so you can use it to colour other blocks with the same pattern and colour as the block you copied.

Repairing damaged blocks with paint
To repair damaged blocks with paint in Empyrion – Galactic Survival, you need to use the Multitool. The Multitool requires ammo. Painting a block replaces it with a new coloured block, thus repairing any damage.
If you are repairing an SV or HV, the best method is to use the T2 repair bay, unlocked at level 20. Place the repair bay in your base or CV, and use the repair console to identify what materials you need to repair your vessel. Once you have the necessary materials, feed them into the console. You will need to turn off the power of your vehicle and exit it before repairs can begin. Repairs may take a few minutes, depending on the extent of the damage.
